Description of the research and your participation You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by Dr. Juan E. Gilbert and Dr. Deidra Morrison. The purpose of this research is to capture your opinion on a new approach to texting, specifically texting while driving.  Your participation will involve watching a video of the voice texting technology and then completing a survey.  The amount of time required for your participation will be 5 minutes. Risks and discomforts There are no known risks associated with this research. Potential benefits There are no known benefits to you that would result from your participation in this research. This research may help us to understand perceptions about voice texting while driving. Voluntary participation Your participation in this research study is voluntary. You may choose not to participate and you may withdraw your consent to participate at any time. You will not be penalized in any way should you decide not to participate or to withdraw from this study.
